Patchwork Kitchen Breadmaking Workshop takes place at Eckley Miners’ Village in Weatherly on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This hands-on workshop pairs historic “patch town” food traditions with practical skills, guiding participants through breadmaking while exploring how a single dough could serve as a staple—and a lifeline—in the patch town kitchen.
Participants will get hands-on with mixing and working dough while learning about its versatility and how bread was made and used in daily life at Eckley. By the end of the session, each attendee will leave with enough dough to make a loaf of bread, four cinnamon rolls, and a braided savory garlic-and-cheese loaf.
Pre-registration is required, with registration closing on Monday, January 5, 2026. Cost is $60 per person, or $55 per person when purchasing two or more tickets.
