Environmental Awareness and Outdoor Educational

The Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center (KCEEC) is part of the Monroe County Conservation District in Stroudsburg and is situated on the 166-acre Kettle Creek Wildlife Sanctuary in Bartonsville. The center features an observation deck, pond, wildlife exhibit, and gift shop.

Environmental awareness and outdoor educational programs, as well as residential and summer day camps are offered year-round for kids of all ages. Interpretive tours of The Nature Conservancy’s Tannersville Cranberry Bog are open to the general public and private and school groups.

The center also operates satellite sites in Monroe County, like the Meesing site, a 100-acre tract found on the Delaware State Forest, north of Marshalls Creek.
