Friends of Vosburg Neck State Parks | Volunteer-powered preservation in Tunkhannock

Friends of Vosburg Neck State Parks in Tunkhannock is a volunteer nonprofit dedicated to protecting and enhancing Vosburg Neck State Park. This group works in close partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), which owns the 669-acre riverside property. Their mission is to support stewardship, improve access and maintain the park for future generations.

Supporting Trails, Access & Preservation

Located along a scenic oxbow of the Susquehanna River, Vosburg Neck State Park features miles of hiking and biking trails, a boat launch and several historic buildings. The Friends of Vosburg Neck help maintain these spaces, improve signage and support upgrades to facilities. Their efforts allow more people to safely enjoy outdoor recreation on this unique landscape.
