The Hazleton Area Public Library strives to inform, enlighten and entertain all people living in Hazleton Area Communities by providing access to books, programs and materials that foster community spirit, learning and growth.

The Hazleton Area Public Library offers free access to books, digital resources and educational programming for residents within the Hazleton Area School District. The main branch is located in downtown Hazleton, with additional branches in Conyngham, Freeland, and Nuremberg. This nonprofit library system ensures that lifelong learning and literacy remain accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds throughout Greater Hazleton.
