Meaningful Work That Empowers Recovery

At Katie’s Place Clubhouse, members play an essential role in maintaining the facility by participating in daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, reception, clerical work, fundraising and maintenance. This hands-on involvement not only fosters a sense of ownership and belonging but also creates opportunities for skill-building in real-world settings. Members work side by side with staff, forming supportive peer relationships and contributing to a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.

Pathways to Employment & Independence

Through its Transitional Employment Program, the Clubhouse helps members take the next step by offering short-term, part-time job placements in the community. These positions are designed to reintroduce members to the workforce in a supportive, low-pressure environment, helping them build confidence, earn income & prepare for more permanent employment. Each placement includes on-the-job training and ongoing support, reinforcing the Clubhouse’s mission of fostering hope and opportunity through community and empowerment.
