Northern Tier Hardwood Association (NTHA) in Tunkhannock is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Pennsylvania’s wood industry through education, advocacy, and sustainable forestry practices. Serving Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne, and Wyoming counties, the association promotes intelligent forest management and the long-term vitality of the region’s natural resources and rural economy.
With a focus on both ecological balance and economic opportunity, NTHA supports secondary wood processing expansion, modern manufacturing methods, and the promotion of regional hardwoods through outreach and education.
