Celebrating Community, Independence & Vision at Northeast Sight Services
As we enter the holiday season, Northeast Sight Services is filled with gratitude for the community that believes in its mission, for the partners who stand beside them, and for every moment this year that helped bring independence, confidence, and belonging to those living with vision loss.

A Year of Impact & Togetherness
From the milestone 20th Annual Awards Dinner to summer adventures at Camp Sight and family gatherings through the InSight Kids Club of NEPA, 2025 was a year that celebrated both impact and togetherness. Each program, event, and service was made possible through the compassion of donors, volunteers, and friends who continue to make vision support a priority across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Celebrating 20 Years of the Annual Awards Dinner
This year’s Annual Awards Dinner was more than an evening of recognition; it was a celebration of two decades of impact. The generosity of attendees and sponsors not only honored this milestone but also fueled the programs that change lives every day. Thanks to that continued support, Northeast Sight Services reaches children through free vision screenings, empowers young adults through skill-building and transition programs, and provides older adults with the tools and confidence to live safely and independently.

Looking Ahead to 2026
Northeast Sight Services is eager to continue that momentum with a full year of new initiatives and meaningful experiences. The organization will once again bring the community together for Sip for Sight, an evening that pairs great company and local flavor with a shared commitment to support the many ways Northeast Sight Services makes an impact.
The Transitioning to Independence program will celebrate an exciting first—a student-led trip to Philadelphia. Participants are not only traveling to a new city but taking charge of the entire experience: working together to plan the itinerary, schedule activities, budget expenses, and practice mobility skills in a real-world setting. It’s a powerful exercise in teamwork, confidence, and preparation for life beyond high school.
And through expanded outreach with the Mobile Vision Resource Center, Northeast Sight Services will bring assistive technology, demonstrations, and resources directly to residents in Pike, Wayne, and Wyoming counties.

How to Get Involved
As 2025 comes to a close, Northeast Sight Services extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported their mission throughout the year. Whether through sponsorship, volunteering, or spreading awareness, every act of generosity helps ensure that individuals of all ages can live more independently and confidently with vision loss.
