Local Students Explore Career Opportunities at Junior Achievement Inspire 2026
Yesterday, we spent time at the JA Inspire Career Exploration Experience at Mohegan Pennsylvania in Wilkes-Barre. Hosted by Junior Achievement of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the fourth annual event welcomed more than 3,000 high school students from 35 school districts.
Students took part in hands on career experiences through interactive exhibits. And they also connected directly with more than 100 local employers. From sessions focused on career readiness and entrepreneurship to large scale demonstrations, the event offered something new to explore and learn.
JA Inspire allows students to step beyond the classroom and engage with career pathways covering a wide range of industries. The event offered a day of career exploration and hands-on education to the future workforce of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
