North Branch Sojourn | Endless Mountains Campground, Laceyville

North Branch Sojourn begins at Endless Mountains Campground in Laceyville on Thursday, July 23, 2026 with check-in by 8:00 AM, launching a four-day Susquehanna River North Branch adventure hosted by the Endless Mountains Heritage Region in partnership with Endless Mountains Outfitters and Susquehanna Kayak & Canoe Rentals.
This year’s route covers 68 river miles, starting at the French Azilum Historic Site in Bradford County and finishing in Plains Township in Luzerne County. Participants will meet at Endless Mountains Campground (255 Catfish Ln, Laceyville, PA 18623) to sign waivers and begin the trip.
Paddlers can choose to camp or make their own local accommodations. Overnight camping is available the evening before the sojourn on Wednesday, July 22, for those traveling from a distance. During the trip, campsites are planned for night one at Endless Mountains Campground, night two at Eaton Township’s property at the end of North Eaton Road, and night three at Susquehanna Kayak & Canoe Rentals in Falls Township. Each morning, participants will drive their vehicle to the next campsite so it is waiting at the day’s endpoint, then take a shuttle back to the day’s launch point.
Flexible registration options allow for single-day, two-day, three-day, or full four-day participation, with partial rentals available through registration. Space is limited, and registration is requested by Friday, July 17, 2026. For questions, call 570-265-1528.
