Welcome aboard the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe, where passengers can experience panoramic mountain views and the natural beauty of Pennsylvania from the comfort of a historic train.

This narrated scenic rail journey follows the Lehigh River through Lehigh Gorge State Park, offering views of towering cliffs, lush forests, and abundant wildlife along the route to Old Penn Haven and return. Along the way, the train crew shares insights into the history of the railway, the region, and the surrounding landscape.

All trains are equipped with clean restrooms and are heated during the winter months for passenger comfort.

Guests are encouraged to arrive at least one hour prior to departure to allow time for parking and boarding.
