Secrets of Seasonal Pools: Amphibian Migration Walk will take place at the Manny Gordon Recreational Area in Thornhurst Township on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Hosted by the North Branch Land Trust, the evening program explores the importance of vernal pools and the wildlife that depend on them.

Participants will learn how seasonal pools form and why they are vital habitats for amphibians and other species. Following the discussion, attendees will explore the area to search for and identify amphibians that gather in these temporary wetlands during migration season.

Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight or headlamp for the evening walk.
