Produced by Endless Mountains Theatre Company, the comedy launches the theater group’s 2026 season.
The story unfolds at the Home Sweet Home Boardinghouse, where eccentric residents create constant chaos. Miss Harriet manages the house with help from the easily frightened Tweenie while a colorful group of guests—including a poet who practices dying, a taxidermist who communicates with spirits, and a hypochondriac who enjoys every illness imaginable—bring plenty of unexpected moments. When the mysterious Dirk Shadow and his sister Veronica arrive searching for pirate treasure rumored to be hidden in the basement, the situation becomes even more absurd.
Directed by Kim Holgate and produced by Sandra Raub, the play promises a lively evening of humor and quirky characters for audiences of all ages. The production is presented by arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service.
