Get all the Details on the 11th Annual Edwardsville Pierogi Festival

The smell of sautéed butter and fried onions drifting through the Wyoming Valley can mean only one thing – it’s time for the annual Edwardsville Pierogi Festival. Each June, the Borough of Edwardsville honors both the fluffy Polish dumpling and NEPA’s rich cultural heritage with one of the biggest festivals of the summer.

In 2025, the Pierogi Festival returns for its 11th year on Friday, June 13 from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. at John Hopkins Memorial Park on High Street.

The Edwardsville Pierogi Festival will feature over 80 vendors including food trucks (and quite a few dishing out pierogi), local businesses and craft and artisan booths. Families can enjoy carnival rides, midway games, a petting zoo and pony rides. There are also plenty of local bands scheduled to perform throughout the 2-day festival. And, of course, you won’t want to miss two of the festival’s signature events – the Pierogi Parade and the Pierogi Cook Off. Both events take place on Saturday, June 14. And don’t forget to purchase your 2025 Pierogi Festival t-shirt at the Edwardsville Hometown Committee tent (next to the Big top tent).
