Five Festivals on the Farm
Beginning in June and running through Halloween, this traditional family farm opens their gates, allowing visitors of all ages to partake in classic Northeastern Pennsylvania seasonal traditions.
Strawberry Festival
June 1 – June 30
There’s nothing better than sweet sticky fingers and a bucketful of ripe, juicy strawberries fresh from the vine. This month-long celebration embraces the beloved bright red berry by giving it its own party. Experience the simple joy of hand-picking your own ripe strawberries in their sun-kissed fields. Afterwards, catch the Marvelous Mutts live dog show featuring incredible acrobatics, athletics and tricks. Of course, don’t miss the tastes of the season with a Strawberry King Slush (topped with a fresh-baked strawberry donut!) and fresh-baked strawberry shortcake.
Summer Fest
July 5-28
Weekends in July are all about wine, lumberjacks and live music. Every Saturday and Sunday the farm will showcase favorite local wineries, performances by world-class lumberjacks and lumberjills, plus local bands and musicians. Summer Fest also features exclusive blueberry-infused foods and drinks like blueberry lavender lemonade and hard Slush, blueberry donuts, blueberry lavender jam smashburger and blueberry bbq sauce at Hogs in Heat.
Blooms & Butterflies
August 1-25
After a warm, sun-drenched summer, we’re rewarded with acres of stunning sunflower blooms. Lakeland Orchard plants over 15 varieties of these bright and cheery stunners as well as zinnias and snapdragons. Meander through them, cut your own bouquet, capture some Insta-worthy pictures, and stop in to see the butterflies in the Butterfly House. Be sure to check out the exclusive limited-time-only Blooms and Butterflies food and drink specials. Quench your thirst with a red raspberry Slush or blackberry lemonade and beat the heat with a scoop of black raspberry ice cream.
Apple Harvest Festival
August 29 – November 3
As summer seeps into fall, sweet, crisp, ripe apples draw us to the farm. Grab a basket and set out to harvest a bushel from their 25+ varieties ready for pickin’. Check out Shenaniguns – Wild West Comedy Show and enjoy the thrill of flying high and catching the breeze on the jumping pillows. Of course, you cannot leave without enjoying Lakeland’s classic fall delicacies of apple cider donuts (glazed with cinnamon sugar glaze!), hard cider, apple dumplings and caramel apple ice cream.
Halloween Light Show
September 20 – November 3
Halloween at Lakeland is a big deal as they transform their farm into a ghost town. Pile on The Lakeland Express for a not-so-spooky train ride among ghosts, goblins, haunted castles and a few chilling surprises. In addition to their regular attractions and shows, gather ‘round the fire pits to warm up while enjoying their famous seasonal food and drinks specials.
Rides & Attractions
Come for the food and stay for the fun. Over 15 attractions are included in your admission to each of the festivals. Hop aboard The Lakeland Express and enjoy a leisurely one-mile train ride through the orchard. When that’s over, capture a moment of nostalgic bliss on the fully-restored country carousel or the iconic Scrambler thrill ride. There’s also jumping pillows, a giant corn box, goat corral, bubble barns, cow train, yard games and more.
Pull up a chair and relax while listening to your favorite local artists and cover bands every weekend near the Cider Garden. Order up an ice-cold hard cider or try a flight at the Cider Bar. Challenge your friends in the ultimate skills competition, Lakeland LumberjAXE axe throwing.

Grab a bite from the burger shop or a snack from Whistle Stop Café. Try their slow-smoked meats and seasonal BBQ sauces at Hogs In Heat.
