Exploring Creativity: A Day at the Wilkes-Barre Fine Arts Fiesta
Earlier today we stopped by public square for the start of Wilkes-Barre’s 68th Fine Arts Fiesta. The beloved celebration shines a spotlight on the creative talent throughout the region, accompanied by food vendors offering up their tastiest dishes.
Walking around, we enjoyed seeing a vibrant art scene with people of all ages dedicated to their craft. From students to adults, and across different art forms like jewelry making and painting, talent was everywhere. It was also nice to see local school groups taking center stage, showing skills beyond their years.
The Fine Arts celebration runs through this Sunday, May 19th and includes musical performances by Elephants Dancing and Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root Uprooted Trio.
