St. Patrick’s Day parades fill NEPA’s downtown streets with marching bands, bagpipes and plenty of green, and the celebrations don’t stop there. From Pittston and Scranton to Wilkes-Barre, Milford and Stroudsburg, communities in Northeastern PA mark the season with festive processions, pipe and drum bands and local traditions.
But parade day is only part of the St. Patrick’s Day fun. Throughout March, you can join pub crawls, catch live Celtic concerts, enjoy classic Irish fare and attend brewery celebrations and family-friendly events that keep the Irish spirit going well beyond the parade route. Saturday, February 28 | Pittston, PA
Parade Week Pub Crawl takes over downtown Pittston on Saturday, February 28, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The Wyoming Valley Pipe and Drum Band performs live at The Red Mill, The Knights and The Tomato Bar & Bistro, with two sets at each stop. Admission is free; food and drinks are available for purchase.
