Solve the Mystery: CLUE National Tour Hits Scranton Cultural Center
Get a CLUE! I certainly have heard that before in my life. Well, now at the Scranton Cultural Center, we got a CLUE! I am talking about the national tour of the hilarious play based on the board game and 1985 movie, CLUE. We are so happy to bring this comedy on stage to Scranton, April 24-26, 2026, for four sidesplitting performances.
I’m sure most of us are familiar with the characters—Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum and the gang at Boddy Manor. Murder and blackmail take the stage as we try to solve the whodunnit mystery. Who was the murderer? What was the weapon? Where did it occur? Was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick?
As the show tells us, this comedy will leave us dying with laughter and keep us guessing until the final twist. The set of Boddy Manor is spectacular, and the touring cast is first-rate. We could all use a night of fun and laughter, and CLUE is the ticket we need. The show runs 85 minutes without intermission. Show times are Friday the 24th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday the 25th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday the 26th at 1:00 p.m. That’s it – four chances to solve the mystery while having a fun time with your family and friends.
There has been so much anticipation for this show. From the day season tickets went on sale, people called and asked when CLUE tickets would be available. I think it is because people love the nostalgia, not only for the board game but also for the classic movie. I remember many nights sitting with my family, playing the game and trying to solve the mystery and win. These game nights are some of my happiest childhood memories. I am really looking forward to seeing all this play out on stage, and I hope to see all of you there with me!
A fun way to get ready for the show is to follow the show’s Instagram and Facebook. It’s a great way to get some inside scoop and follow the cast around the country. If social media is your thing, I would recommend giving them a follow. You also may want to dust off your board game and play a few rounds; it will get you in the mood for this wonderful show. I know I will be getting myself ready for this show by reliving my enjoyment of this great game and figuring out how they will do it on stage. You can see me in the lobby before and after every performance. Make sure you say hi.
