A Night with Zoso as Wilkes-Barre’s Rockin’ the River Kicks Off in Style
Last Friday, we made our way to Wilkes-Barre’s spacious River Common for the first show of the 2025 Rockin’ the River summer concert series. As usual, the popular event brought eager concertgoers from all over NEPA to the banks of the Susquehanna River to experience Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience. The show kicked off with a rockin’ performance from local legends, Flaxy Morgan. And as the sun set over the river, food and drink vendors like Bank + Vine, Yogi’s Potato Pancakes and Susquehanna Brewing Company kept the crowd satisfied.
The magical evening of live music, dancing, food and drink and community was made possible by Visit Luzerne County in partnership with the Riverfront Parks Committee. The River Common seating area opened at 5 p.m. and the rockin’ live music ran from 6 to 9 p.m.
Now, with one unforgettable show already behind us, there are still two more to go. Be sure to mark your calendars for the remaining Rockin’ the River concerts July 18 & 25. And don’t miss our highlights below.
