No need to put away those sneakers as temperatures drop! Northeastern Pennsylvania has tons of winter races and walks for you to take part in. From fun runs and walks to more intense races, there’s something for every runner at every skill level.
Despite the chillier temps, there are still plenty of opportunities to stay active and enjoy NEPA’s vast landscapes and scenery! Round up your runner friends or walking buddies for an exciting, jam-packed season of events.

Get out that ugly sweater for a great cause! This 5k Run and 1 Mile walk at the Greater Scranton YMCA benefits low-income individuals and families with the Y’s scholarship funding program. After you cross the finish line, grab your picture with Santa and enjoy some milk and cookies.
