Arcadia Chorale | Timeless Voices & Traditions in Clarks Summit

Arcadia Chorale in Clarks Summit has been a cornerstone of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s cultural community for more than 45 years. Known for its artistry and dedication, the ensemble brings audiences on a journey through centuries of music, from medieval chants and Baroque masterworks to contemporary compositions. Under the direction of Matthew Rupcich, the group continues to blend tradition with innovation, offering concerts that celebrate both history and creativity.

Each season, Arcadia Chorale presents a fall performance, a festive Christmas concert, and a spring Pops program often featuring the Doug Smith Jazz Trio. Audiences can also experience beloved annual traditions, including the Messiah Sing-Along each December and the NEPA Bach Festival every March. Concerts are held in some of the region’s most architecturally stunning churches, providing an inspiring backdrop for the powerful voices of the Chorale.

Founded in 1978 as the Robert Dale Chorale, the ensemble has long been recognized as Northeast Pennsylvania’s premier chamber choir. Over the decades, they have expanded their reach through live concerts, recordings, and appearances on local radio and television. Their programming often highlights thematic connections, giving listeners both a musical and cultural perspective on the works performed.

Arcadia Chorale also engages with the community through fundraisers, collaborations, and educational opportunities, ensuring that choral music remains a vibrant part of the region’s arts scene. Whether attending a holiday concert, an innovative new program, or a cherished tradition like the Bach Festival, audiences are treated to an unforgettable performance that reflects both skill and passion.

Arcadia Chorale in Clarks Summit continues to inspire with its exceptional performances, rich history, and commitment to celebrating the art of choral music.
