Fly Fishing Lessons & Guided Trips

For over 30 years, this expert fly-fishing guide, photographer and instructor has offered private lessons in scenic Benton. Barry & Cathy Beck Fly Fishing Instruction features several instruction packages for all different skill levels. Less experienced anglers can opt for private, one-on-one instruction.

Spend up to several hours covering basics like casting, shooting line and presentation.  More seasoned anglers may enjoy the Overnight Package. This comprehensive experience includes a stay at a local bed and breakfast and 8 hours of guided fishing on private water.

You can also choose full One Day Learning Packages that offer a 1, 2, or 3-hour lesson, and then an afternoon on the water. Guided trips without lessons are also offered for experienced anglers.

Country Life Experience

Get a taste of life out in the country with this immersive 2-day experience. Bring the family along for a 2-night stay and a big day of adventure and exploring. Learn to fly fish for bass and bluegills in the pond. Take a mesmerizing waterfall hike at Ricketts Glen State Park and enjoy a picnic lunch. Afterwards, stop for few scoops of ice cream.

You can also spend time at Springdale Farm next door. This serene equine farm welcomes guests to get up close and personal to some of their friendly horses. In the evening, when you and the little ones are tuckered out, take it easy at The Lodge at Raven Creek.
