The museum features three exhibition galleries located on the third floor of Carbondale City Hall. These galleries are open to the public and showcase artifacts and exhibits connected to the city’s development. Carbondale City Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, adding historical significance to the experience.

The organization also hosts lectures, programs and events throughout the year. These offerings help make local history accessible and engaging for the community and visitors alike.
