Getting There & Trail Access
To reach Egypt Meadow Lake, take I-84 south to S.R. 390. After about 100 yards, turn at the first yellow pipe gate on the east side of the road. A parking area is located just beyond the gate. From there, follow the trail roughly a half mile through the woods to reach the lake. Though I-84 can be faintly heard to the north, the forest setting quickly takes over, offering a quiet and immersive experience.
Fishing & Day Use Only
The lake’s shoreline is wild and undeveloped, providing a calm and natural place to fish. Egypt Meadow Lake is part of a protected natural area, so only day use is permitted. Overnight state forest camping is not allowed, and visitors should plan accordingly. The area is also part of the Promised Land Trail System, making it a great stop for those exploring the larger network of Delaware State Forest trails.
