Established in 1968, and it just keeps getting better
Frank’s Place in Simpson first opened in 1968 as a Mom and Pop Tavern, but has since evolved into the sprawling pub and restaurant that it is today. Thanks to their mouthwatering, homemade food and excellent customer service, Frank’s Place now has a bar, multiple dining rooms, outdoor seating, and a menu that reads like a book. There are tons of gluten free options on the menu. And their range of specialties will fill you up no matter what you’re in the mood for.
They also offer catering, delivery, take out, and host plenty of private parties. Whether you’re chilling out in the homey bar or savoring your meal in the spacious dining room, your time spent at Frank’s Place will be an unforgettable experience.
Frank’s Place has amassed a fierce local loyalty, but the restaurant is worth the drive from just about anywhere. They have weekly specials that draw a crowd almost every night of the week. And while walk-ins are welcome, it may be wise to call ahead for a reservation if you don’t want to wait.
Menu Highlights
It is nearly impossible to highlight a few items from such a crowd-pleasing menu, but a few dishes stand out beyond all others. Even their drink menu is several pages long, but you can’t go wrong with one of their rotating craft beers or a Moscow Mule.
As an appetizer, try a Frank’s Favorite like sausage or seafood stuffed mushrooms. For dinner, indulge in the Clams Casino, gluten-free Chicken Parmesan, or the always-popular Twin Grilled Pork Chops. No matter how gut-bustingly full you are after dinner, you can’t leave without dessert. Sip on a coffee cocktail like a Kahlua Cappuccino and dig into a slice of peanut butter pie or some Crème Brûlée.
