Frog Hollow Nature Area in Friedensburg, just outside Schuylkill Haven, is a 28-acre forested wetland preserved for walking, wildlife watching, and exploring native plant life. This Schuylkill County park offers 10 marked trails that wind along the Upper Little Swatara Creek, creating a peaceful setting for a relaxing stroll or quiet afternoon outdoors. Open daily from dawn to dusk, Frog Hollow welcomes visitors of all ages for passive recreation and learning experiences.

Each season brings something new to discover. In early spring, skunk cabbage peeks out from beneath the last patches of snow, and mayapple unfurls with blooms by May. April welcomes a colorful show of wildflowers, including violets, bluets, pyrolas, and spring beauties. Throughout the year, the trails provide opportunities to spot birds, plants, and other wildlife thriving in this natural habitat.
