A Taste of Northern Italy
La Cucina has called Dunmore home for over 30 years, but its roots go much further. The founder, Luciano Lepri, immigrated to America from Florence, Italy with his wife and son in 1962. The rest is history.
The dishes at La Cucina represent the Lepri family’s northern Italy culture. The menu includes some of Luciano’s original recipes, but it also includes classics such as fettuccine alfredo and shrimp scampi.
Menu Highlights
Manicotti is essentially a large pasta tube, and it is then stuffed with cheeses (typically ricotta) before being baked.
As you probably could have guessed, La Cucina makes some of the best manicotti around. Stuffed with creamy ricotta cheese and topped with delicious marinara sauce, this restaurant’s manicotti ripieni dish is sure to make any one’s mouth water.
