Lackawanna Heritage Valley BikeShare | Borrow a Bike in Peckville and Explore for Free
Explore Greater Scranton for free! Lackawanna Heritage Valley BikeShare is a free community bike-sharing program operated by the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority. With pick-up locations across the region, the program provides bikes, helmets, and locks at no cost, making it easy to explore Northeastern Pennsylvania’s scenic and historic trails. Pick up a bike, lock and helmet from their location at Electric City Roasting Company’s cafe, ECR Park in Peckville. You can use the bike and equipment all day, so get pedaling!
Bike rentals are available for the entire day, so you can pedal along the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, visit Nay Aug Park, or cruise through Scranton’s historic downtown. Riders must be 16 or older and have a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
