Swim, Splash, and Sunbathe

Spend the day relaxing in the sand at Palmyra Township Public Beach in Hawley. It’s the only public beach on the shores of beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. The swimming area is a popular place to cool off on a summer day, and they also offer children’s swim lessons. Lifeguards are on duty.

Plan a beach day with family and friends. The beach has picnic tables, charcoal grills, and a snack bar so you can make a whole day of it. After a swim, gather a team for a game of volleyball.

Palmyra Township Public Beach is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend weather permitting.
