Paradise Fishing Preserve is a fun, family-oriented fish and pay lake in Cresco. They offer two fee fishing ponds—one stocked with trout and one stocked with bass. The preserve is located at the site of Paradise Brook Trout Co., a historic hatchery that started in 1901 and has been raising trout continually for over 100 years.

No fishing license is required. As for supplies, Paradise Fishing Preserve offers rental poles and bait and tackle for purchase. They can even gut or fillet your fish for you so you can take it home for dinner.

Paradise Fishing Preserve is open from early spring through mid-autumn. Call or check online for operating hours.
