Downtown Pottsville gets a dose of Brooklyn with this stylish coffee and used book shop just a block off of Centre Street. Pressed Coffee & Books boasts a minimalist décor and an ultra-relaxed vibe.

Coffee lovers can pull up a stool at the concrete counter, or take their cup and peruse the packed book shelves. But if you feel like hanging out a while, grab a bench and a pillow and get comfy. Pressed also hosts regular acoustic music nights, coffee tastings and occasional classes.

The menu features regular drip coffee, espresso, cappuccino and lattes. They also serve a wide variety of hot tea as well as hot chocolate. And if you’re hungry, you can take your pick from a small menu of sweet or savory crepes.
