A Scenic Escape for Hikers, Bikers and Dog Lovers
Located in North Abington Township, Rowlands Preserve is a picturesque natural area managed by the Countryside Conservancy. Spanning 65 acres, the preserve features a scenic 2-mile loop, perfect for hiking and biking. The trail is also used by the Keystone Composite co-ed Keystone Mountain Biking Team for training. A former dairy farm that has been in the Rowland family for over 100 years, the preserve shares a half-mile border with Lackawanna State Park. Dogs are welcome on the trail, making it a perfect spot for families and furry friends to explore together.
