Each winter, NEPA transforms into a cold-weather playground. From December through March, we’re hitting the slopes, hiking snow-covered trails and even doing a little ice fishing. Throughout the region, a handful of local ski resorts and parks offer wide tubing lanes, and modern lift systems to keep the family fun going all day long.

And the best part about snow tubing — no experience required. Just grab a tube, sit back and zoom down the hill. Many locations also feature nighttime snow tubing, adding colorful lights, music and a lively atmosphere to the classic winter fun.

Whether you’re planning a family outing, a weekend adventure or knocking an item off your winter bucket list, these Northeastern PA snow tubing spots deliver big thrills and endless family fun in the Pocono Mountains. Be sure to check ahead. In some cases, advanced reservations are required, especially during peak weekends and holidays.
