Gertrude Hawk Chocolates began with humble origins in Scranton as a small, personal project of Gertrude (Jones) Hawk to make money during the Great Depression. Today, Gertrude Hawk Chocolates has grown into a national business with more than 60 retail store locations located across Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey and a growing e-commerce website.

The company’s signature Smidgens^® remain the number one retail seller. However, customers also love the wide selection of candy bars, Teenie Poppers^®, and classic assorted chocolates.
