Enjoy food, drinks, and an actual working three-story-high waterwheel at the Waterwheel Café, Bakery & Bar, a restored 19th-century water-powered grist mill in Milford. Built in the early 1800s and currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Waterwheel Café allows patrons to watch the water as it rushes over the shafts, gears, pulleys, and belts that are used to power the stones and equipment.

The house-made food at Waterwheel Café is just as spectacular as the atmosphere. The breakfast menu features everything from muffins and scones to eggs & ham with hand-cut toast to Challah bread French toast. Lunch doesn’t disappoint, with soups, salads, daily specials, and culturally inspired sandwiches. Fine-dining dinner entrees are inspired by American, Mediterranean, and Modern Vietnamese cuisine. The bar menu offers lite bites that include burgers, mini pizzas, and sampler platters. Live music and catering round out the options presented at Waterwheel Café, Bakery & Bar.
