Over the weekend, we had the privilege of witnessing history as the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad made its first-ever stop at The Village at Houser’s Crossing in Tamaqua. This moment marked the beginning of an exciting new era for The Village, which is now an official flag stop on the line.

Every weekend through the end of the year, guests can now hop on the train at Houser’s Crossing , and enjoy a stress-free, scenic ride straight into Jim Thorpe. Plus, they receive a special discount on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway’s afternoon ride—perfect for a full day of adventure.
