Contemporary Boutique in Kingston Keeps You Looking Your Best
Located in the heart of Kingston, Shooze has been keeping NEPA stylish since 1986. Original owner Joann Emanski brought Shooze into fruition with the goal of bringing cutting-edge, beautiful women’s shoes to Northeastern PA. Since then, Shooze has expanded to have a wide variety of luxurious women’s and men’s clothing, accessories, and of course gorgeous shoes!
Ready to retire in 2019, Emanski passed the torch to Tara Mugford Wilson, current owner of Shooze. We sat down with Wilson to chat about what makes Shooze such an essential piece of the community. Wilson says she loves being a part of this community, and that’s the best part about her Kington gem. “Shooze dressed me for all the occasions in my life,” stated Wilson. And when she was given the opportunity to buy the business, she took a leap of faith and decided it was her next passion project.
Wilson sees customers at their highest highs and even at their lowest lows for various occasions in life. Whether in need of a dress for an engagement party or a suit for funeral, the helpful staff at Shooze can assist you. Wilson and Shooze have become a fabric of their customers’ lives across Northeastern PA, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
