Last night we stopped by the grand opening of Wisteria, the area’s latest pop-up bar and restaurant at Lackawanna College. Wisteria is run and operated entirely by students in the culinary program at the college and is located in the 409 on Adams building in downtown Scranton. 

In collaboration with students from the Marywood University School of Architecture, the entire space has been reimagined into a magical reprieve for patrons to visit throughout the spring semester. 

Wisteria offers indoor and outdoor dining, and full, student-crafted cocktail and dinner menus that include plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. You can visit Wisteria on Wednesdays and Thursdays through May 9. Reservations are not required, but they are highly recommended.
