Ah yes, ice cream, that quintessential summer treat. For so many, a hot NEPA summer is defined by it. All season long, we’re lining up at our favorite shops and stands for a tasty, chilly twist or scoop.

Whether we’re meeting up with friends, ending date night on a sweet note, or celebrating a big win on the diamond, grabbing a sundae or a shake is one of our favorite summer activities. In many ways, these warm nights just aren’t the same if they’re not capped off with a cool cone. For some, however, ice cream poses a regular dilemma. Vegans and those on non-dairy diets often find few options when it comes to enjoying ice cream.
