Handbuilding Class for Adults at Peaceful Potter in Wilkes-Barre meets on Tuesday mornings, April 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering a relaxed, creative introduction to building pottery by hand. This four-week series is ideal for adults who want to explore clay without using the wheel.
Throughout the month, students will create pottery items using pinch, coil and slab-built methods. Projects change each class, giving participants the chance to experiment with different forms and techniques while gradually building skill and confidence.
After the four class sessions, students will return during the second weekend of the following month to glaze their finished pieces at their leisure, adding color and surface details before the final firing.
