Open Studio & Portfolio Prep | Dietrich Theater, Tunkhannock

Open Studio & Portfolio Prep at the Dietrich Theater in downtown Tunkhannock runs on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, offering five separate four-class series for ages 13 and up. Each series gives students a dedicated studio block to create at their own pace while also building skills to develop a portfolio for college, professional, or personal goals.
Students can choose their preferred medium—pottery, sculpture, drawing, or painting—and receive guidance as they explore techniques, refine pieces, and learn how to present their work in a cohesive portfolio. The class welcomes all experience levels, from beginners looking for structured studio time to experienced artists preparing an application-ready body of work.
Series dates:
- Series 1: Monday, January 12, 19, 26 & Monday, February 2, 2026
- Series 2: Monday, February 9, 16, 23 & Monday, March 2, 2026
- Series 3: Monday, March 9, 16, 23 & Monday, March 30, 2026
- Series 4: Monday, April 6, 13, 20 & Monday, April 27, 2026
- Series 5: Monday, May 4, 11, 18 & Monday, June 1, 2026
