The Railbiking Experience

Explore the Poconos from a whole new perspective with Pennsylvania Rail Bike in Hawley. This family-run business offers railbiking trips that allow you to pedal down the historic railroad. There’s plenty to see along the way, from the charming town of Hawley to the lush forests to the serene river.

Pennsylvania Rail Bike’s custom-made railbikes come in tandems (2-seaters) or quads (4-seaters) for friends and families to enjoy the experience together. Each adventure is approximately 6 miles long and takes about 2 hours to complete.

All guests will leave at the same time, accompanied by tour guides in the front and back of the group. After you depart, the group can spread out along the track, allowing everyone to enjoy the outdoor adventure at their own pace and in their own space.

Come prepared with outdoor gear like water, sunscreen, snacks, and insect repellent. And don’t forget your camera or phone to snap photos of the views!

Pennsylvania Rail Bike suggests wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Securable closed-toe shoes are required (athletic shoes are recommended).

Reservations are not required, but they are highly recommended. Tours are rain or shine.
