Der Jaeger in Lake Ariel is private dining experience like no other. This family-run restaurant makes authentic German food in a charming, home-like setting. They make everything from scratch, from their traditional schnitzels and wursts to entrees like beef stroganoff, kassler rippchen, sauerbraten, and more. They also offer American favorites, chicken entrees, and barbecue.

The restaurant is also home to Der Jaeger Unique Arts, a shop full of antiques, collectibles, European porcelain, and fine art. The historic décor and artwork provide an unforgettable setting.

Menu Highlights

Try home-cooked European dishes like the veal schnitzel or the beef rouladen. The sausage sampler will give you a taste of Der Jaeger’s finest wursts and homemade sauerkraut. Or sample their slow-roasted pork spareribs straight from the barbecue pit.
