Lackawanna Heritage Valley BikeShare | Borrow a Bike in Scranton and Explore for Free

Explore Scranton for free! Lackawanna Heritage Valley BikeShare is a free community bike-sharing program operated by the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority. With pick-up locations across the region, the program provides bikes, helmets, and locks at no cost, making it easy to explore Northeastern Pennsylvania’s scenic and historic trails. Pick up a bike, lock and helmet from their location at the Weinberg Memorial Library at The University of Scranton. You can use the bike and equipment all day, so get pedaling! You’ll be just a short ride from historical attractions like the Steamtown National Historic Site and Electric City Trolley Museum.

Bike rentals are available for the entire day, so you can pedal along the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, visit Nay Aug Park, or cruise through Scranton’s historic downtown. Riders must be 16 or older and have a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
