Formerly known as Coal Street Park, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park is a great community park located not far from downtown Wilkes-Barre. The park has options for all ages, including baseball fields, basketball courts, and a large playground with a splash pad.

There’s always something going on at the park, whether it be a game of basketball or an event like a cookout. It’s located right near the Toyota SportsPlex, which features ice rinks that offer public skates and other events all year.
