Linn McDonald School of Dance | 40 Years of Movement in Scranton
The Linn McDonald School of Dance in Scranton, PA offers exceptional dance education for students ages 3 through adult. With more than 40 years of experience, the school is dedicated to building strong technique, creativity and lifelong confidence through the performing arts. Classes are taught by experienced instructors who encourage every dancer to reach their personal best.
Students can explore a wide range of styles, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and lyrical. Younger dancers can begin with pre-ballet and pre-tap, while advanced students have opportunities for private instruction and continued training. The school also offers workshops in modern and hip-hop, along with special programs for children as young as 18 months.
Housed inside a beautifully restored church in Scranton’s Green Ridge neighborhood, the studio provides an inspiring space for dancers to learn and grow. The welcoming environment has supported thousands of aspiring performers over the decades.
Each year, students have the chance to take the stage in a full-length Nutcracker production in December, along with end-of-year recitals for junior and senior dancers.
