Located in the scenic Pocono Mountains just minutes from the Delaware Water Gap, Shawnee Mountain been a go-to winter destination since 1975. Known for its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and consistently groomed terrain, the resort offers a classic ski experience for beginners, seasoned skiers and everyone in between.
With 125 acres of skiable terrain, 23 trails, night skiing and 100% snowmaking, Shawnee Mountain makes winter fun easy for a quick day trip or a full weekend on the mountain.

Ski and Snowboard
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area offers a balanced mix of terrain that accommodates skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. With 750 vertical feet, a summit elevation of 1,350 feet, and trails ranging from wide, easy runs to steeper expert terrain, the mountain is a great fit for families and groups with skiers and riders at different levels.
Shawnee’s terrain is well-balanced with about 25% beginner, 50% intermediate and 25% advanced. Beginners can ease in on long, scenic trails like Upper and Lower Pennsylvania, while intermediate riders enjoy runs such as Bushkill and Delaware. Advanced skiers and snowboarders can challenge themselves on steeper terrain like Renegade and Lower Arrowhead.
The mountain features 10 total lifts, including the Tomahawk Express high-speed quad, which whisks riders to the summit in about three minutes, keeping lines short and laps frequent.

Learn to Ski & Gear Up at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area
Shawnee Mountain is known for being one of the most beginner-friendly ski resorts in the Pocono Mountains. The resort offers a full lineup of group lessons, private lessons and beginner packages for both kids and adults.
First-time skiers and riders can take advantage of lesson packages that include lift tickets, rental equipment and professional instruction. Shawnee’s children’s programs offer age-specific lessons designed to build confidence and skills.
Their on-site rental shop provides skis, snowboards, boots and helmets in a wide range of sizes. The resort also features a retail shop stocked with winter essentials like jackets, pants, gloves and accessories, making it easy to gear up on the mountain. They also offer a tune and repair shop with services ranging from hot waxes to full equipment tuning.

Snow Tubing at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area
Snow tubing at Shawnee Mountain is fast, fun and family-friendly, with up to six tubing lanes and convenient surface lifts that carry riders back to the top. Single tubes and adult-and-child tandem tubes are available, making it a perfect activity for all ages.
Each tubing session lasts 1.5 hours, offering plenty of time for nonstop runs. Visit during the day for mountain views or at night for a glowing, under-the-lights experience. Snow tubers must be at least four years old.

Shawnee Mountain Ski Area Terrain Park
Shawnee features two terrain parks for skiers and snowboarders looking to add jumps and features to their day on the mountain. Country Club Park is geared toward riders new to terrain park features, while the Delaware Terrain Park offers larger jumps, tabletops and a full rail and jib garden. Throughout the season, the parks also host events, including a Big Air contest that highlights top local talent.

Dining & Après-Ski
After a day on the slopes, Shawnee Mountain Ski Area offers plenty of places to refuel and unwind. From quick bites to sit-down meals, on-mountain dining makes it easy to stay warm and energized.
Grab classic lodge favorites at the Hope Lodge Cafeteria, enjoy a full-service meal and drinks at Groomers Grill & Bar, or take in panoramic views from the Summit Lodge Bar at the top of the mountain. The Greenhouse Café serves coffee and grab-and-go snacks, while The Tavern in the Hope Lodge is a popular spot to relax après-ski.
