The 25th Annual Northeast PA Brain Bee takes place at the PNC Auditorium in the Loyola Science Center (Room 133) in Scranton on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12:30pm. Sponsored by the Neuroscience Program at The University of Scranton, this official USA Brain Bee regional competition challenges teens to explore how the human brain works and why neuroscience matters in everyday life.

Open to teenagers ages 13–19, the event is designed to motivate students to deepen their understanding of the brain and spark interest in future careers in basic and clinical brain sciences. The competition also highlights the urgent need for new clinicians and researchers working toward treatments and cures for neurological and psychological disorders.

Admission is free, but pre-registration is required. For details, call 570-941-4324 or email robert.waldeck@scranton.edu.
