Robert K. Mericle, President of Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services, founded DiscoverNEPA in 2017 to create a regional quality of life resource for Northeastern Pennsylvania covering a 10-county area. DiscoverNEPA provides local residents with access to amenities, events and information about community engagement and area nonprofits.

DiscoverNEPA also serves as a recruitment tool for economic development organizations, businesses and educational institutions, helping to attract and retain skilled workers. Mericle, established in 1985, is a privately-owned developer along the I-81 Corridor, having developed over 28 million square feet of industrial, office, flex and medical space where more than 20,000 employees work.

Our team is a dynamic mix of talented writers, photographers, videographers and social media specialists with a passion for NEPA. Together, we’re dedicated to showing the world all that Northeastern Pennsylvania has to offer.
