Artifact Preservation will be presented at the Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Kassidy Cobb of History For the Ages will lead a free virtual talk on how to properly store and preserve antiques, with guidance that applies to everything from documents and photographs to glassware and furniture.
The presentation is designed to answer common preservation questions and help attendees protect meaningful items for the long term. Participants can attend virtually by requesting a link or join others to watch together at the library.
For those attending in person at the Osterhout Free Library, light refreshments will be provided.

We recently visited the Central Branch of the Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre. As a member of the Luzerne County Library System, the Osterhout offers free library cards to all Luzerne County residents, providing access to a fantastic assortment of books, programs, CDs, movies, video games and so much more!
