The City of Wilkes-Barre’s 46th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Wilkes-Barre takes place on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM, celebrating Irish heritage with one of the city’s largest annual traditions. The parade steps off from the intersection of South Street and South Main Street, with participants lining up between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM in designated areas.
Mayor George C. Brown invites residents and visitors to attend and enjoy an afternoon filled with community pride and festive spirit. In previous years, the parade has featured more than 100 groups and over 1,500 participants, including local leaders, nonprofit organizations, businesses, youth groups, pageant title holders, and emergency response units.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure viewing spots along the route and take part in this longstanding Wilkes-Barre St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
